Properties of the RG/QR series of linear guideways: Roller guide for heavy-duty applications with the highest requirements for load ratings and moment load capacity. In the HIWIN linear guideways of the RG series, rollers are used as rolling elements instead of balls. Due to the linear contact surface, the deformation caused by the occurring load is considerably reduced, resulting in extremely high rigidity and load capacity in all 4 load directions. The models of the QR series with SynchMotion™ technology offer all the positive features of the standard RG series. Due to the controlled movement of the rollers at a defined distance, they are also characterised by improved synchronisation properties, higher permissible travel speeds, extended relubrication intervals and reduced running noise.
