Features of the linear guideways PG series: The HIWIN profile rail guides of the PG series are a special version of the HG/QH/CG series with integrated, magnetic displacement encoder system MAGIC. The magnetic displacement encoder systems of the HIWIN MAGIC series are optimised for displacement measurement in linear movements, especially in linear motor axes. The measuring system consists of a magnetic measuring body on a stainless steel carrier tape and a scanning unit. The robust housing with excellent electrical shielding and the real-time signal output make the HIWIN-MAGIC series the encoder of choice for demanding applications. Structure of the PG series: o Carriage of the HG/QH/CG series o Profile rail of the HG/CG series with additional groove for the measuring tape o Read head mountable on carriages of sizes HG/QH_20, HG/QH_25, CG_20, CG_25 o Mounting direction: The read head is on the left side as standard when facing the stop edge of the carriage. The cable of the reading head is also on the side of the stop edge.
