Description

Overview
The SR30-M2-D1 is a digital Class A pyranometer for high-accuracy solar irradiance measurement in photovoltaic monitoring, solar resource assessment, and meteorological applications. Featuring RVH™ heating and ventilation technology, a calibrated tilt sensor, and extensive remote diagnostics, it delivers reliable long-term performance. The SR30-M2-D1 is the proven predecessor to the SR300 platform and remains an excellent solution for high-accuracy PV monitoring and meteorological applications.

Key features
• Class A performance: fully compliant with ISO 9060:2018 Class A classification and IEC 61724-1 requirements for Class A PV monitoring systems.
• All-digital design: provides accurate irradiance measurements and Modbus RTU communication via an isolated RS-485 interface.
• Integrated heating and ventilation: minimizes dew and frost effects for reliable operation in all climates.
• Built-in tilt sensor: continuously measures sensor tilt and rotation, supporting IEC-compliant PV monitoring and tracker applications.
• Advanced diagnostics: includes status LED and remote diagnostics such as leakage detection, heating status monitoring, tilt alerts, internal humidity monitoring, and internal pressure monitoring.
• Lowest total cost of ownership: supported by a worldwide calibration and service network to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.

Applications
• Global solar irradiance monitoring for photovoltaic (PV) performance monitoring systems.
• Solar resource assessment and meteorological monitoring networks.
• Utility-scale solar power plants and tracker systems requiring IEC 61724-1 Class A compliance.
• Long-term solar monitoring in environments where dew, frost, and snow mitigation are critical.
