Description

Overview
The SR200 is an industrial-grade Class A pyranometer designed for accurate measurement of global solar irradiance in photovoltaic (PV) performance monitoring and meteorological applications. This all-digital sensor delivers the high measurement accuracy and reliability required for IEC 61724-1 Class A monitoring systems.

Key features
• Class A performance: fully compliant with ISO 9060:2018 Class A classification and IEC 61724-1 requirements for Class A PV monitoring systems in climates where dew and frost mitigation is not required.
• All-digital design with Modbus RTU communication over an isolated RS-485 interface.
• Industrial surge protection: integrated industrial-grade surge protection with optional SPD01 upgrade for enhanced immunity up to 4 kV.
• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): meets IEC 61326-1 Industrial Equipment requirements. Rated for Industrial Electromagnetic Environments
• Designed for seamless integration into industrial monitoring systems with minimal external components.
• Lowest total cost of ownership: supported by a worldwide calibration and service network to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.

Applications
• Global solar irradiance monitoring for photovoltaic (PV) performance monitoring systems.
• Solar resource assessment and meteorological monitoring networks.
• Utility-scale solar power plants requiring IEC 61724-1 Class A compliance.
• Long-term solar monitoring in environments where dew, frost, and snow mitigation are not critical.
