Mechanical DesignThe sensor features a compact cylindrical structure (φ10 × 7 mm) with an acoustic matching layer and a small cable outlet for easy integration. It supports outer cylindrical fixed installation and is available with ABS or aluminum alloy housing. Standard cable length is 20 cm and can be customized.
Electrical and Test InformationEvaluation uses a test circuit comprising a function generator, the ultrasonic sensor, a target and an oscilloscope; a typical test distance is 15 cm. Reference resistor values: R1 = 3.9 kΩ, R2 = 1 kΩ. The TA0400KA is a ceramic transducer capable of transmit/receive operation for compact short-range ultrasonic sensing circuits.
