Overview
The HYCON HCS16 cut-off diamond saw is designed to cut concrete, steel, brick and asphalt. The tool is built for continuous heavy use and is resistant to water and dust; all running components operate in oil to extend service life.

Operation and safety
The hydraulic drive reduces the need for maintenance compared with e.g. gasoline engine saws. The saw can be used for both horizontal and vertical cutting. An automatic system pressure relief valve protects against blade jamming; the blade stops rotating within a maximum of 10 seconds after the trigger is released, reducing risk of operator injury.

Design and cooling
The hydraulic direct-drive motor is engineered for minimal service. Flushing water is routed through the body and hydraulic motor for additional cooling, keeping external surfaces cold and helping to extend maintenance intervals.
