Overview
Compatta Light is the semi-automatic mobile compact shelving system designed for document archiving and light medical material storage. Shelving units are mounted on mobile bases that run on floor-integrated rails; moving the bases opens an access aisle to reach stored items.

Operation
The operator can open and close aisles manually via handle, by handwheel, or by electromechanical drive with a control panel located at the front of each mobile base. The system allows selection and opening of the desired aisle for picking or depositing materials.

Safety
Photoelectric barriers positioned at entry fronts and inside service aisles along the mobile bases immediately stop movement if operators or obstacles are detected. An anti-tilt system is provided and seismic-design solutions are available.

There is a DUPLEX model for creating a second level of mobile shelving when vertical exploitation is possible (e.g. high ceilings or with integrated stairs). Mobile bases can reach lengths up to 12 m.
