The uEye XC autofocus camera ensures perfectly sharp images and videos, even when the distance between the camera and the object is constantly changing. It was specifically designed to fill the gap between industrial cameras and webcams. Unlike consumer webcams, its components - such as the high-resolution 13 MP onsemi sensor and the integrated ISP chip - are available for a long time and fully suitable for industrial use. The sensor delivers 20 fps at full resolution and, thanks to BSI technology ("Back Side Illumination"), can easily cope with changing light conditions. Useful features such as 24x digital zoom, auto white balance and colour correction ensure that every detail is perfectly captured. Customers can choose between programmable models - thanks to the USB3 Vision protocol - and plug-and-play functionality, which is available for variants with the new UVC protocol. The abbreviation UVC stands for USB Video Class and means that the camera only needs a cable connection for setup and commissioning. The uEye XC is used, for example, in kiosk systems, logistics, the medical sector and robotics applications. With the quickly exchangeable macro lens, you can easily shorten the minimum object distance of the camera. This makes it also suitable for close-up applications, for example in medical technology.
