The uEye XLS family fits seamlessly into the price-optimised basic camera portfolio from IDS. The name indicates that it is a sub-size variant ("small") of the popular uEye XLE family. The software features of both series are the same.

Thanks to Vision Standard compatibility, the camera models can be used with any GenICam-compliant software. With our IDS peak software development kit, we additionally offer you a great plus in convenience and simplicity when developing your image processing application and operating your camera.

Due to extremely compact dimensions, very low weight and practical USB Type B connector, the industrial cameras are ideally suited for embedded vision applications. Customers can freely choose between models without lens mount and with CS- or S-mount. This opens up a wide range of application scenarios, from production and automation to small appliance manufacturing.

uEye XLS industrial cameras are the smallest board-level cameras in the IDS portfolio. They hardly heat up at all during operation. Those who need models with housings are well advised to look at the uEye XCP family.

Thanks to USB Type-B connectors and Vision Standard compatibility (U3V / GenICam), the models can be easily integrated into any image processing system.

The cameras are particularly suitable for projects where especially low-cost, extremely compact cameras with and without lens mounts are required in large quantities.
