Product description
The IMC-CHM automatic cold heading machine is designed for high-volume fastener production. It performs cold heading operations with a mobile slide carrying two heading punches for initial forming and finishing. The machine accepts wire / bar feed and includes vertical straightening rollers to ensure consistent straight wire feeding for long-piece processing.
Advantages
The design integrates multiple safety devices on the cut-off and knock-out mechanisms to reduce downtime and risk. Punches and dies are adjustable and can be set manually for quick part changeovers. Critical components — rollers, roller pins and cams — are manufactured from high-grade heat-treated and ground steel to extend service life and maintain dimensional accuracy under continuous operation.
