Bu-tylene ALU BRICO FR is a self-adhesive sealing tape consisting of a butyl rubber adhesive compound specially designed and developed to be classified according to EN 13501-1: 2009. Bu-tylene ALU BRICO FR is protected by a reinforced aluminium film and is resistant to ageing and UV-rays. Bu-tylene ALU BRICO FR is highly adhesive, even at low temperatures, to all common building materials. Bu-tylene ALU BRICO FR is available in different sizes and colours for multipurpose applications. Fire classified: B - s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1: 2009; Tear-resistant; Cold applied; Excellent adhesion at low temperatures; Waterproof and self-sealing; Excellent heat stability; Resistant to ageing and to UV-rays; No oil migration; Solvent-free. Uses Bu-tylene ALU BRICO FR has been designed for the construction field, in particular, for those building applications where high performances, in terms of reaction to fire, are needed. General uses are sealing and joining materials such as glass, steel, Plexiglas, polycarbonate, wood, aluminium, PVC. Bu-tylene ALU BRICO FR can be used for the sealing of doors and windows frames, conservatories, gutters, piping, ducting, canopies, roofs, chimneys and skylights as well as facades and roofs joints and seams.
