Overview
Combined inline system consisting of a 40/80S industrial shredder coupled with a GR500 granulator, designed for primary size reduction and subsequent granulation of bulky and rigid materials.

Shredder characteristics

• Heavy-duty electro-welded sheet steel frame
• Barrel roller bearing supports with sealing against dust and liquids
• Interchangeable wear-resistant side plates separating cutting chamber from bearing flanges
• Extra-thick shafts with 20 wear-resistant special steel cutters and 20 insertion discs for handling bulky items
• Staggered cutter tooth arrangement for improved grip and cutting progression
• Two epicyclic gearboxes with axes parallel to cutter axis

Granulator characteristics

• Robust electro-welded tubular steel support structure for GR500
• Soundproofed sheet metal panelling and soundproof housing chamber with safety access door for maintenance
• Double closing door with electric lock and safety micro-switch for granulator extraction
• Internal alignment guides for accurate centring of the GR500
• Extra-thick steel rotor-holder case with open central rotor Ø260 mm and interchangeable, re-sharpenable high-alloy blades
• 300 × 500 mm loading hopper and axial-adjustable fixed blade set
• Interchangeable screen up to 4 mm
• Drive via high-strength V-belts on flywheel and 11 kW motor mounted on slides for belt tension adjustment
