OverviewPlant for separating prepacked liquid waste. System separates the liquid fraction from packaged bottles to enable disposal or recovery of solids and appropriate handling of liquids. Typical applications include bottling and packaging lines for beverages, juices and similar liquid products.
Process- Loading belt feeds material into a four-shaft shredder (example model 80/80E) which breaks the containers.
- A stainless-steel mesh separation belt lets liquids pass through while conveying solids to collection points.
- Recovered solid fractions (e.g. PET, multilayer packaging) are discharged into Big-Bags.
- Separated liquids are coarse-filtered and pumped to depuration or treatment systems.
Performance and benefits- Treatment capacity: up to 150–180 bottles per minute (depending on bottle size and material).
- Enables on-site separation of liquids and solids for disposal, recovery or recycling routes.
- Reduces disposal costs and simplifies handling of expired or defective lots.
Typical outputs- Solid fraction: PET flakes or similar recovered materials, collected in Big-Bags for recycling or further processing.
- Liquid fraction: coarse-filtered liquid sent to depuration/treatment plants.
Applications- Bottling and packaging companies (soft drinks, mineral water, fruit juices, shampoos and other liquid-packed products).
Technical specifications- Core components: loading belt, four-shaft shredder (e.g. model 80/80E), stainless-steel mesh separation belt, Big-Bag collection, liquid filtration and pumping to treatment plant.
- Processing speed: up to 150–180 bottles/minute (depending on bottle size and material).
- Material separation: solid fraction suitable for recovery (PET or multilayer), liquid fraction separated for depuration.
- Benefits: on-site separation of prepacked liquid waste, lower disposal costs, streamlined handling of expired/defective packages.
