Description

Power Operated Wedge Hook Chuck With Pull-back Action And Centrifugal Compensation Power chucks type QLC-NZ are especially used for high accuracy requirements, in particular for high axial run-out accuracy. The power chuck QLC-NZ is a rotating, power-operated three-jaw wedge-hook chuck with centrifugal force compensation, which has the feature of attracting workpieces axially. The axial movement of the workpiece starts when a certain clamping force is reached. This clamping force can be adjusted by the preload force of the movable chuck body. After the axial tightening, the workpiece finds its end position at a firmly defined stop. This mechanism ensures that a very precise flatness takes place. As a result, more precise concentricity accuracies than usual are also achieved. The flatness also allows the use of an air system control. This makes the chuck ideal for automated production. Medium to large series Workpieces with high accuracy requirements Series production with frequent changeovers • Pull-down chuck • High concentricity accuracy (<0,02mm) • Axial run-out accuracy (<0,01mm) • High repeat accuracy • Higher speed due to centrifugal force compensation • Air system control • Quick-change jaw system MIR • Quick jaw change in approx. 5 Sec. • Low maintenance due to circulation lubrication Pull-down effect via diaphragm spring package centrifugal force compensation Quick jaw change (MIR) Fixed stop with air system control (optional)
