Description

Absolute Encoder Cartesian Robot The JC-3 ABS Absolute Encoder Model Cartesian Robot records the robot axes’ current positions, eliminating the need for homing movements between program runs. Removing the homing movement from the operation workflow allows the JC-3 ABS to save time between program runs. Also, operators do not need to fully reinitialize the robot after making an emergency stop (only the drive unit needs reinitializing). This saves time because the robot simply resumes operation where it left off before the emergency stop. The built-in absolute encoders make this model especially useful for dispensing or soldering operations requiring an even higher level of positioning control. Available as a 3-Axes type with either a single or double-sided configuration.
