Very few manufacturers are able to fabricate step-hardened annular cutters – this enables us to achieve the maximum hardness of 68 HRC at the tooth tips and a flexible annular cutter. The special Durablue tool coating increases the tool life even further due to the extremely improved surface hardness, even at high temperatures in use without cooling. Karnasch HSS-XE annular cutters are available in cutting depths of 30 mm, 55 mm, 80 mm and 110 mm, in diameters from 12 mm to 60 mm. For materials that are extremely difficult to machine, such as hardox, titanium, inconel and rail steel, stainless steel with high silicon content we recommend the use of the highly wear-resistant ASP powder steel annular cutter. It is specially made of ASP powder steel and guarantees maximum tool life. Karnasch powder steel annular cutters are available in cutting depths of 30 mm and 55 mm, in diameters from 12 mm to 36 mm.
