Acoustic Imagers (referred to as "acoustic camera" or "sound camera") are devices that visualize sound, and are specifically designed to detect and accurately locate audible or airborne ultrasonic sound sources.
In the power supply system, defects such as cracks in high-voltage insulators may cause electrical partial discharge phenomena. Similarly, leaks in high-pressure gas pipelines can cause the ejection of high-speed airflow. These partial discharges and high-pressure gas leaks can excite the air to produce sound or ultrasonic signals. Acoustic imagers can capture these signals and locate the defects and leakage points that generate partial discharges.
KEYGOTECH DES-T163Pad is a handheld ultrasonic Imager, which is one of theproducts in KeyGo acoustic camera series. The DES-T163Pad integrates up to 163 highly sensitive MEMS ultrasonic sensors in an optimised pattern. The imager balances the size ofthe microphone array and device portability well, with a 7-inch touch screen, a 4-hour battery, and a weight of 1.3 kilograms. The DES-T163Pad also features a high-resolution display screen of up to1920x1200 pixels.
· 163 MEMS microphones Microphone array
· 2 kHz to 100 kHz, Adjustable range Bandwidth
· 7-inch touch screen, 1920×1200 Display screen
· Gas Leak Localization
· Partial Discharge Localization
· Mechanical Noise Visualization
The DES-T163Pad uses a large number of microphones and a large array surface, while also balancing low-frequency and high-frequency imaging performance, and has good imaging performance from 2kHz to 100kHz.
The DES-T163Pad has functions such as automatic discrimination of partial discharge types and leak rate estimation, helping engineers to visually judge signal characteristics. The DES-T163Pad supports fully automatic imaging mode without setting, greatly reducing the complexity of use.
