With the Equalizor, Komptech is launching a new technology. This new single-shaft shredder is designed for processing commercial, bulky, and household waste for recycling and thermal reclamation. The Equalizor is all-electric. The high-efficiency direct drive on both sides of the drum, a speed range of 50-100 rpm, and precision setting of the cutting gap between drum and counter-cutter all work together to turn out a homogenous product with high throughput. If mobility is required there is the Track version which runs on powerful batteries. Precise shredding The multi-use teeth on the drum and the matching counter-cutter give a defined cutting process. Supported by an automatic pusher and screen baskets, this results in a constant grain size. Powerful drum drive Synchronous reluctance motors on the drum deliver maximum efficiency. A powerful cooling system keeps everything in the green zone even under high temperatures. Perfect access for maintenance The Equalizor enables perfect access to all maintenance points thanks to an integrated service platform. Easy screen basket change With the hydraulically extendable screen basket frame, screen baskets can be changed without tools. Intuitive usability The operating console with big colour display makes it easy for new users to learn how to use the Equalizor, and gives pros many ways to optimize operations. Another plus is the new remote control with visualization.
