Description
The AngLock PT-Series vises facilitate high accuracy in functionality. It has actual, time-proven Kurt AngLock design that avoids parts from lifting upward under heavy clamping loads. The unique pull type clamping offers repeatability and lessens stationary jaw deflection by about 80% as the movable jaw is “pulled” into the stationary jaw in contrast to standard screw type vises.
The device offers about 20,000 lbs. precision clamping force. The unique CNC style permits compact spacing.The unit can be positioned upright or on either side. The 80,000-PSI ductile iron body has both sides ground square to within 0.001" with base and top. Matching of bed height ±0.001" and matching of the keyway to stationary jaw ±0.001" can be obtained at extra price.
