Kurt's ML35 is a modular vise with a manually movable jaw. This two-piece vise is the first to utilize the AngLock® vise concept. This design is used to avoid jaw lift during clamping. As strength is applied to the piston, the vise is moved forward to locate on an internal segment. While the lateral force is holding the part, a downward pressure is being applied to the movable jaw, which reduces or avoids part lifting.
