Description

LATTY®flon 5790 is a synthetic mechanical packing that is designed for rotary machines to meet the requirements of the paper industry. The packing is sturdy, robust and exhibits superior resistance to wear caused due to rotation of machines. The LATTY®flon 5790 is made up of high-quality yarns and fibers that are new in the industry.

The LATTY®flon 5790 features excellent mechanical strength and resistance, and is much less abrasive as compared to the other commonly-used yarns. The yarns are first saturated at the core with a silicon-free lubricant and are then coated with LATTYs patented process called FILCOAT. The lubricant boosts abrasion resistance due to its sliding properties.
