Description

Summary
We supply self-adhesive tamper-evident labels (VOID, destructible, holographic and serialized) that leave visible, irreversible evidence when peeled, removed or shifted. VOID film leaves a message on detachment (service range −30 °C to +120 °C). Destructible material fragments the facestock into small pieces preventing reuse. Holographic faces lose structured pattern preventing reuse. Since 1994 we provide sealing solutions for warranty and integrity control in industry.

Main data
  • Types: VOID · Destructible (inviolable) · Holographic · Serialized
  • Adhesive: High permanent tack
  • Customization: Logo · Sequential numbering · QR · Barcodes
  • Typical substrates: Metal · Glass · ABS · Polycarbonate

When used
  • Warranty seals on electronics, machinery and equipment
  • Sealing of packaging, boxes and official documents
  • Asset control with serialized numbering and barcodes
  • Authentication against counterfeiting and grey market
  • Seals for meters, inspection and calibrated equipment

Types and characteristics
VOID label
For immediate visual evidence that a label has been tampered with or removed. When peeled, a visible message (commonly "VOID" or custom text) remains on the surface. Face: polyester / polypropylene. Cure time: minimum 24 h. Finishes: matt / gloss / silver.
  • Effect: Message visible on substrate or label
  • Uses: Warranty seals, box sealing, access control for assets
  • Typical substrates: Metal · Glass · ABS · Polycarbonate

Destructible (inviolable) label
Designed to break apart when removed so it cannot be reused: facestock fragments into pieces on peeling. Face: destructible vinyl. Cure: minimum 24 h. Finishes: white / silver.
  • Effect: Fragmentation (destruction)
  • Uses: Serial plates, destructive seals, inspection and calibration certification
  • Typical substrates: Metal · Rigid plastics

Holographic label
Provides visual authentication that is difficult to replicate; can be combined with VOID and numbering to strengthen individual identification. Face: metallized film. Cure: minimum 24 h. Compatible with VOID / numbering.
  • Effect: Holographic (visual authentication)
  • Uses: Premium products, pharmaceuticals, authenticity seals on documents

Serialized / Numbered label
Each unit includes a unique identifier (sequential number, barcode or QR) for traceability. Face: polyester / paper / PP. Can be combined with VOID, destructible or holographic.
  • Identification: unique per unit
  • Codes: Barcode / QR
  • Uses: Batch traceability, inventory, delivery notes, warranties and records

Comparison
VOID | Leaves visible message on substrate or label | Reuse not recommended | Logo, fixed text, security message, numbering and codes | Warranties, seals, boxes, electronics, equipment and documents
Destructible | Label fragments on removal | No | Fixed text, numbering, codes and custom formats | Fixed assets, identification plates, calibrations and internal control
Holographic | Adds visual authentication and can be layered with other features | Depends on construction | Holographic effects, numbering, overprint and combination with VOID | Product authenticity, certificates, brands and originality control
Serialized / Numbered | Unique identification per unit or batch | Depends on facestock | Sequential numbers, barcodes and QR | Traceability, inventory, records, warranties and controlled seals

Points to consider / Common errors
  • Choosing by price without validating the real substrate: some surfaces (e.g. untreated polyethylene or polypropylene) require prior validation
  • Removing the label before adhesive cures: the VOID effect requires up to 24 h curing to be reliable
  • Confusing tamper evidence with complete security: combine physical evidence with unique serialization when risk is product substitution
  • Using generic holography without customization: true authentication requires exclusive design (logo, unique code, etc.)

Technical characteristics / specifications
  • Available types: VOID, Destructible (inviolable), Holographic, Serialized / Numbered
  • Service range (indicative for VOID): −30 °C to +120 °C
  • Adhesive: high permanent tack; requires minimum curing ~24 h
  • Facestock (depending on type): Polyester, Polypropylene, Destructible vinyl, Metallized film, Paper, PP
  • Finishes: matt, gloss, silver
  • Customization options: logo, fixed text, security message, sequential numbering, barcode, QR, holographic overprint
  • Recommended substrates: metal, glass, ABS, polycarbonate; validate on polyethylene/polypropylene without treatment
  • Typical applications: warranties, seals, packaging closure, asset traceability, product authentication, seals for meters and calibrated instruments
