The LPS-SA-L-VA-G0 Sanitary drum pump unit is designed for the hygienic transfer of low-viscosity liquids from drums and containers. The construction complies with DIN EN 1672-2 for food-contact machinery and combines hygienic design with simplified cleaning.
The pump tube can be dismantled in less than 30 seconds. Alternatively, it can be rinsed or integrated into a CIP system using a suitable device, allowing cleaning processes to be adapted to operational requirements and reducing effort during frequent product changes.
Media-wetted components are mainly stainless steel (1.4404 or 1.4571). Plastics and elastomers comply with EU 1935/2004, EU 10/2011 and FDA requirements. Smooth, rounded surfaces with a roughness of Ra 0.8 minimise deposits and facilitate thorough cleaning.
Depending on the mechanical seal chosen (FPM or EPDM), the pump tube combined with a suitable Lutz drive achieves up to 92 l/min and a head up to 18 mWS. The DN 32 Tri‑Clamp connection enables integration into hygienic hose and process connections.
