3D BORE-HOLE ARRAY 3+3
Description
Array for bore-hole seismic made of two tridimensional sensors S3 connected by a removable stainless steel bar. Sensor can be equipped with suspension and guidance system by using steel tubing strings. Double 3D sensor for borehole seismic which can be used for down-hole and cross-hole surveys. It is made by two S3 sensors placed one on the other at 1 mt distance. Sensor use is simple and immediate, it is sufficient to connect supplied pump supplied and adjust pressure on 2 bar using pressure indicator on frontal panel of the sensor, once performed acquisition is sufficient to release air through appropriate command on sensor panel, place sensor at next depth and perform acquisition. Tire anchoring system makes sensor light and easy to carry, grants an optimal coupling of sensor to borehole wall. Due to particular clamping methodology with pneumatic system brings advantage of not having to carry heavy and bulky batteries on field and also in the event of failures or malfunctions is always possible to recover sensor from borehole, permanently eliminating the risk of losing sensor. S6 can be equipped with a mechanical guidance system into investigated hole.

DOWN-HOLE SEISMIC EXPLORATION
This type of survey is performed for the mechanical characterisations of grounds crossed during the probing phase.
