ENCODER WITH CABLE GUIDE FOR WCH4
Description
WCH4ECR is a magnetic management encoder to be connected to motorized reel WCH4WMU60 which main function, together with ensuring probe alingment with investigation tube and guide its descent/ascent, is to constantly measure probe position into the hole, in order to monitor probe location into investigation tube at each instant; this is necessary to ensure correct alignment of all used probes and consequently resulting diagraphy quality and resolution. WCH4 system can correct misalignment of one or more probes into a certain range: in case one of the probes will overpass automatic compensation range of the instrument caused by tube obstruction or probe beaching, survey will be immediately interrupted and an automatic alert will inform operator to check blocked probe.
The cross-hole is a method to analyze the foundation poles of buildings that, with the use of ultra-sounds, crosshole, allow to carry out an accurate high resolution test. An ultra-sonic wave is sent from a transmitter to a receiver, which are convoyed automatically by the device along the entire length of the pole inside the pipes embedded inside of it, during casting. The speed of the sonic wave and its energy are strongly influenced by the quality of the cement. Therefore, it is possible to assess the characteristics and give a tomographic representation in 2D and 3D called diagraphy.
