Marpa Vacuum MVT series pumps are constant-pitch dry-running screw pumps. They are characterised by their high efficiency and are ideal for industrial processes requiring dependable and contaminant-free pumping of gases and vapours. Due to the asymmetrical design of the screws, as well as the free gas outlet, the pumps offer superior compatibility with particles and fluids. Given that the temperature inside the pump is evenly distributed, it guarantees that the materials stand up to corrosion. The variable pitch MVT series design generates peak vacuum performance and increased pumping speed ratios, ensuring cost-effective operation and high flow rates. As there is no contact between the two screws, no additional lubrication is required. Cooling can take place through both a closed-loop system or an open system with water. The motor is highly efficient (IE3). The parts of the pump that undergo the most friction, such as the rotor and the casing, are given a protective coating: - PTFE (Teflon) - PFA - Hastelloy - Nickel-Plating - Ceramic The coating will depend on the application of the pump.
