Optical gauging OPTOFLASH™

Overview
OPTOFLASH™ is an optical gauging solution based on multiple fixed 2D optical sensors. It reconstructs the 3D shape of parts to enable fast, repeatable quality controls on small shafts, fasteners, turned components and critical medical and aerospace parts.

• Measurement from multiple fixed 2D sensors stitched into a single resultant image with no discontinuities at the stitching edges.
• 3D reconstruction of part geometry derived from 2D sensor images.
• No Z-axis movements (fixed sensors), enabling very fast measurement cycles and high stability during long production runs.
• Axial measurement range up to 300 mm — world first for an optical device using multiple fixed 2D sensors.
• New, redesigned graphical user interface simplifying programming, configuration and visualization of results.
