Description

Product information
MEISER press welded grating is manufactured by continuous resistance welding at every intersection of bearing bars and cross bars, producing a stable, dimensionally consistent panel. Cross bars are typically twisted square wires resistance‑welded to unnotched bearing bars under high pressure. Production lines allow made‑to‑measure panels with cross bar lengths up to 1,250 mm and optimized panel widths to reduce waste and installation fixings.

Accessories / fixing clips
  • Welded‑in holed fixing plates — hole size per customer specification; screws by customer.
  • Double clamp B — 2 saddle top clips, clamp lower part, 2 hexagon screws and 2 square nuts.
  • Grating heald bolt fastener — head bolts and retaining flange; X‑BT versions for highly corrosive environments; pre‑mounted X‑GR RU available.
  • Grating butt joint — top and base with thread and allen screw.
  • Hilti clamp — saddle top clip and lower part connected; high vibration resistance and faster single‑person installation.
  • Clamp B / Camp B10 / Safety clamps A & D — various clamp assemblies with hex screws and square nuts.

Technical specifications / key characteristics
  • Manufacturing: continuous resistance welding at each intersection under high pressure.
  • Bearing bars: standard profiles in 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm thickness with profile ranges 20/2 to 80/5.
  • Cross bars: typically twisted square wire; also available round or ribbed; common spacings 38.1, 50.8, 76.2 and 101.6 mm.
  • Panel capability: cross bar lengths up to 1,250 mm enabling wider panels and up to ~20% savings in fixings through optimized layout.
  • Materials: available in V2A and V4A stainless steels; mild steel and galvanized options on request (e.g. 7 mm twisted or 8 mm ribbed cross bars).
  • Applications: oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, power stations, heavy‑duty platforms and areas with high shear forces; suitable for frequent platform modifications and subsequent fabrication work.
  • Panel finishing: normally banded with flat sections; multiple fixing options and accessories available for installation.
