Product overview
The Memmert ICO180 provides a controlled CO2 incubation environment for reproducible cell and tissue culture results. Precise CO2 and humidity control, multi-zone temperature conditioning and advanced connectivity enable secure processes and traceable parameter management.

Range of functions
Key operating and monitoring features include:

• Calibration of temperature, humidity and CO2 with three freely selectable setpoints
• Interfaces: USB-C and Ethernet LAN for data transfer and network integration
• Flexible timers: immediate start, SetpointWAIT (start after reaching setpoints), and event-based start
• Extensive language options and configurable appliance settings (date/time, display brightness, DistanceView, network and alarm settings)

O2 (only with T6 option)
Anaerobic oxygen control via filtered nitrogen inlet. Zirconium-oxide O2 sensor with integrated monitoring and error reporting. Setting range 1–20 % with 0.1 % adjustment precision.

Temperature
Large-area multi-zone heating with additional door, seal and rear-wall heating ensures uniform conditions. Setpoint range +20 to +50 °C; usable down to 5 °C above ambient. Built-in sterilisation programme: 60 minutes at 180 °C (sensors may remain in place). Display resolution 0.1 °C; spatial variation at 37 °C ±0.3 K; temporal fluctuation ±0.1 K.

Humidity
Standard passive humidification via integrated water tank with condensate return; humidity limiting by Peltier element. Option K7 provides active closed-loop humidity control with capacitive sensor, micro-dosing pump for hot-steam humidification and diaphragm pump dehumidification. Accuracy 0.5 % RH; setting range 40–98 % RH and rh-Off.

CO2
Dual-beam NDIR CO2 control with pressure-compensated measurement and integrated monitoring. Filtered CO2 supply for process reliability. Temporal fluctuation ±0.2 %; setting range 0–20 %.

Safety
Power-failure behaviour configurable per mode (manual, program). Dual Pt1000 temperature sensors (DIN Class A) for mutual monitoring and automatic takeover. Visual and acoustic alarms.

Standard equipment
Delivered with door-open detection (V5) and factory calibration options (Standard I, K7 II, T6 III). Includes CO2 connection set, water tank (B38737) and stored sterilisation programme. Fully insulated stainless-steel door with 2-point compression lock and inner glass door with sampling port.
