Winder Support Roller M276-01 Nowadays nonwoven building textiles are an essential part in modern building technology. This kind of nonwoven is preferably used for road and railway construction for reinforcing, draining, filtering, separating and erosion protection. It is also applied in agriculture for large-scale covering of e.g. beet. The fully automatic support roller winder supplied by Menzel is designed for a width of 5.600 mm and a production speed of 80 m/min. The 600 mm diameter finished batches can optionally be slit and wound in smaller widths. Depending on material thickness, the cycle time amounts to 1 – 3 min per batch. A high flexibility, even when changing the product is guaranteed by process control. The achievable high efficiency is determined by the preceding extruder for spun-bonded fabric in non-stop operation.
