The rewinding and slitting machine is designed for light nonwovens as well as roof underlays up to 350 g/m². The machine is suitable for automatic positioning and winding of 1.000 to 3.300 mm open width on non-primed sleeves. The cardboard tube feeding is effected by an automatic core magazine, of a maximum available capacity of 100 sleeves. The combination of center drive and surface drive driven by two rising roll batches has the advantage of many different winding characteristics. The finished batches are automatically transported out of the range and the ends are sealed by banders. Afterwards the batch is moved next to the range and can be tilted to a transfer station.
