MESEL's STA series consists of sensors designed for the measurement and transmission of ambient conditions, specifically temperature and relative humidity. They are mainly intended for HVAC systems, environmental monitoring and industrial applications where these variables need to be monitored, particularly in clean environments without moisture condensation.
STA types:
STA-1 – Ambient temperature sensor with Pt100
Designed exclusively for measuring ambient temperature using a 3-wire, Class B Pt100 sensing element. It is the ideal option when the Pt100 signal is connected directly to a controller, indicator, PLC or other compatible equipment.
STA-2 – 4–20 mA ambient temperature transmitter
Measures ambient temperature from 0 to +50 °C and converts it into a standard 2-wire 4–20 mA analogue signal. This facilitates signal transmission to control systems, even when there is a certain distance between the sensor and the receiving equipment. Accuracy: ±0.3 °C.
STA-3 – Temperature and relative humidity transmitter
The most complete version, measuring both temperature from 0 to +50 °C and relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH. It provides two independent 4–20 mA signals, one for temperature and one for humidity. Accuracy: ±0.3 °C for temperature and ±0.3% RH in the 0 to 90% RH range.
