Electrically driven cable dereelers are the ideal extension for your cable processing machines for automatic cable feeding with high processing speeds and, at the same time, with gentle operation using the lowest possible tensile force. Motorized cable dereelers play a decisive role for consistent accuracy of your cable processing machine. The lack of or imprecisely working cable dereelers are often the cause for temporary cable strain during material feed. The material usually contracts again after processing, resulting in the correct processing measurements changing after a short resting phase, and no longer corresponding to the desired result. Cable dereelers and feeding devices from Metzner reliably prevent these undesired effects, and also ensure simple material handling and automatic operation. All functions of the dereelers of the Metzner DR series are motorized, such as dereeling the cables, tensioning the cable reels, and lifting the cable reels. This makes handling of the often heavy cable reels much easier, and you save valuable time in changing cable reels compared to other variant types. Thanks to the modern, electric clamping system with the automatic centering of the cable reels, roller axes and drivers are no longer necessary.
