Prefeeders from Metzner are used when material is dereeled from a device without a drive. These include cable and profile reels, coils, loose rings or processing directly from a box or cable rack. Our prefeeders ensures tension free material feeding for all automatic processing machines. The inbuilt sensor control adjusts the unwinding speed of the material reel, independently from the processing machine at speeds from zero up to 180 m/min. According to model materials will be transported up to a width of 100mm and 30mm height. With its outstanding experience in cable, rubber and plastics processing Metzner have designed three powerful and yet very compact prefeeders: For materials with very small diameters the prefeeder Metzner PF 50.25 offers an ideal and low-priced solution. Larger diameters are transported with the Metzner PF 235.30. For all materials, that are not round, the Metzner PF 235.100 is available.
