OverviewCOOL MUSCLE 3 (CM3) is an integrated AC servo system that combines motor, built-in driver, controller and encoder into a single compact unit. By concentrating on essential functions and applying Muscle's control algorithms, CM3 enables servo-equivalent motion control using a stepper motor while simplifying wiring and reducing overall system volume.

Control types- Direct Type (Communication Control Type): Operate the motor by sending/receiving commands via RS232C serial communication. Positioning, speed and acceleration are set via simple parameters. Up to 32 Motion Data points can be stored and executed.
- I/O Type: Save up to 8 Motion Data points. Selection and execution are done via PLC I/O signals.
- Pulse Type: Controlled by pulse signals from a PLC. CM3 provides ABZ output for drop-in replacement without changing an existing pulse system.
