GP56-N – - LOW-NOISE PLANETARY GEARBOXES Low-noise planetary gearboxes for brushless DC motors and stepper motors in sizes NEMA 23/24 (56/60 mm) as well as external rotor motors. In the gearboxes of the GP56-N series, the planetary gears and the ring gear of the first stage consist of a high-quality, low-wear plastic with noise-damping characteristics. The helical toothing allows the teeth to mesh gradually which results in a smoother transmission of forces so that vibrations and noise are further reduced. The gearboxes come in nine different versions and, thanks to their compact design, are ideally suited for applications in medical devices and building automation. • Noise reduction of up to 10 dB compared to metal gearboxes • One- and two-stage designs • Output torque: 1.5 - 11.8 Nm • Service life: 5,000 h @ 3,500 rpm • Standard with keyway • Protection class IP54 The GP56-N gearboxes are available in combination with these motors. Please note: For vertically installed geared motors (gearbox on top of the motor), the gearboxes can be equipped with radial shaft seals on request. This way Hall sensors, encoders and integrated motor controllers are protected from the gearbox lubricant.
