We designed our column type curing press to cure simultaneously on two working places by opening and closing motion of the lower and upper pressure plates supported by hydraulic cylinders. Work forces occurring during the curing process are trapped in a bayonet closure integrated in the lower pressure plate. To securely position the bladder inside the upper and lower clamp rings a rolling in bladder control mechanism is used. In addition the distance between the clamping rings is adjustable to enable the usage of various kinds of tire types and dimensions. The press is equipped with automated loaders for loading the green tires and unloading the finished products which both are fully integrated in the control system Siemens S7 300.
