AS1072 Grade Fire Sleeve was statistically designed to ensure the fire resistivity feature of FAATSO - C53a OR TSO - C75. It is developed to withstand frequent exposures to molten glass, molten steel and molten aluminium. Its Silicon layer forms a Sio2 crust in high flames. Splashes of molten metal are immediately shed by its heavy red silicone rubber coat. It is highly efficient in preventing excessive heat exchange. Its endurance has made it a perfect choice to be used at high temperatures. It can withstand continuous exposure to 20900c and upto 30000C for 30 minutes. It is made up of bulk glass fiber and is largely used to bundle cables, wires, tubes as it has very high elasticity. Developed to reduce energy loss it also provides protection against burns.
