Product DescriptionThe PCS-985RE is designed for rotor earth-fault detection using external voltage injection. By employing self-adaptive active switching technology, it supervises rotor insulation even when no excitation voltage is present. The relay provides high and equal sensitivity to any one-point earth fault within the rotor winding. Automatic and manual brush control functions allow application to brushless exciter units and conventional brush systems.
