Description

Overview
The NTE Process pneumatic blender Air Mixer M244 has no mechanical parts in contact with the product and uses pulses of air or nitrogen to gently lift and circulate the product from the bottom upwards until the required homogeneity is reached. It handles batches from 200 litres up to 200 m³ by adjusting cycle times, gas pressure and valve stroke (manual or automatic).

How it works
  • Blending principle: pulses of compressed air or inert gas create a bottom‑up circular motion that homogenises powders and granular products without mechanical contact.
  • Adjustable parameters: cycle times (ON/OFF), compressed air or nitrogen pressure, valve stroke (manual or automatic).

Cleaning & Additives
The Air Mixer M244 can be cleaned with a pressure‑washer kit, by cryogenic cleaning or via CIP cycles with dedicated detergents. Liquid additives (perfumes, spices, fats, other liquids) can be dosed during the blending cycle using the aerator M543 equipped with a patented nozzle that minimises dripping and prevents droplet‑induced agglomeration.

Main advantages
  • No internal wear because there are no mechanical parts in contact with the product.
  • No product deterioration due to mechanical friction inside the blender.
  • Reduced contamination risk: blending head designed to limit stagnation and ensure complete discharge.
  • Minimal maintenance and reduced cleaning times.
  • Possibility to blend very large volumes in a single batch or entire silos.
  • Use of inert gas (nitrogen) possible as blending medium.
  • High blending speed and energy savings compared with mechanical mixers.

Variants & related equipment
  • Blender Transporter M214: combination of Blender M244 with Transporter M201 to blend homogeneous batches and transfer them by dense‑phase pneumatic conveying to packaging or storage silos, reducing segregation.
  • Silo Mixer M277: mixing cone for dense‑phase pneumatic conveying to blend silos from 60 m³ up to 200 m³; cone equipped with 12 aerators for fast, uniform silo blending.
  • Fluidising Bin Bottom (FBB) M328: for cohesive or sticky powders and coarse materials; uses adjustable air pulses and an aeration valve with 360° distribution along cone walls to fluidise material, reduce bridging and ratholing, and operate even with the discharge valve closed (preventive/emergency action).
