Description

Overview
The Jetmixer® M531 is a patented pneumatic powder mixer by NTE Process for homogeneous blending of batch volumes from 20 to 2000 L. The M537 is a lab / small-production variant for 20–500 L. Both systems move powder using discontinuous compressed-air or inert-gas pulses to create upward center flow and downward wall flow, achieving mixing without any mechanical parts contacting the product.

How blending is controlled
Blending is controlled by adjusting operating parameters:
  • cycle times (ON/OFF)
  • compressed air or nitrogen pressure
  • valve stroke adjustment (manual or automatic)

The patented design supports automatic and continuous parameter adjustment to optimise blending time, homogeneity and energy use.

Applications and process benefits
Suitable for abrasive or fragile powders with varied particle sizes and bulk densities. The Jetmixer® reduces segregation common to mechanical blenders and handles small quantities of cohesive additives with improved homogeneity. An ATEX-compliant version is available for explosive atmospheres.

Cleaning and maintenance
Compatible with pressure-washer kits, cryogenic cleaning and CIP cycles to enable rapid hygienic turnarounds in food, pharmaceutical and chemical environments.

Liquid injection and accessories
Liquid (e.g., perfumes, colourants) can be injected from the top and/or bottom of the chamber to produce powder/liquid systems. The patented aerator M532 enables controlled liquid aerosolisation into the blending gas; injection rate and distribution are adjustable via operating parameters.

Jetmixer® M537 (Lab Unit)
The M537 is a stand-alone lab solution for hoppers from 20 to 500 L. It integrates a liquid-injection skid managing up to six different liquids (one per valve) and functions as a 5-in-1 system: raw-material blending, pneumatic vacuum conveying, liquid injection, cooling/degassing and powder conditioning in a single unit.
