Description

Overview
The M201 Transporter from NTE Process is designed for dense phase pneumatic conveying of abrasive and heavy materials, fragile products and mixed powders or granules. Typical applications include silica sand, feldspar, glass scrap, alumina, vitrifiable mixtures, sorbitol, dextrose, sugar-coated confections, resins, cocoa beans, hazelnuts, puffed rice, and industrial or food batches for glass fibre, ceramics, construction and confectionery. The material is conveyed by a pressurised transporter through a conveying pipeline to the destination hopper or silo. Compressed air introduction is controlled by a control panel in several separate sections: from above via the "Top Air", in the cone via the "Air Jets", and in the outlet bend via the "Bottom Jet". A fourth control area after the product exits the transporter is controlled via Air Assist® devices, ensuring reduced conveying speed, better control of consumption and restart of the conveying cycle in case of an accidental stop when the pipe is full of product.

Features and integrations
The M201 can be combined with Air Zone technology to manage different pressure settings on distinct sections of long conveying lines. For long-distance systems, Eco Dense-Tronic® is recommended to reduce compressed air consumption and energy costs. Transporters M201 are typically pressurised from 1 to 6 bar. They are available in ATEX, GMP and MOCA versions and are supplied equipped and customised with the instruments and components suitable for the application. Units are pre-wired, pre-assembled and tested, ready for installation with minimal field connections.

Optional equipment
  • AirPad M420: handling cohesive products at high flow rates and over long distances; equipped with a shaped fluidising membrane along the walls to convey product more easily toward the outlet, preventing build-up and residues and facilitating fluidisation.
  • Blender M244: combined with the Transporter M201 to form the Blender Transporter M214, allows homogeneous batch blending and transfer via dense phase pneumatic conveying to final destinations (packaging, storage silos), reducing segregation.
  • Artificial Intelligence Air Assist® M533: adjusts injection flow rate at each point and the optimal gas pressure profile (air, nitrogen, etc.) for the specific conveyor; control is electronic and can be performed remotely using advanced Artificial Intelligence.


Performance and environmental gains
The Artificial Intelligence Air Assist® M533 patent led to the Eco Dense-Tronic® solution for dense phase pneumatic conveying, enabling up to a 40% increase in efficiency and up to a 70% reduction in energy consumption in specific plant configurations. For plants equipped with Eco Dense-Tronic®, CO2 savings equivalent to nearly 3,000 new trees planted per year are reported (results dependent on specific plant configurations).
