Product overview
PAMA SPEEDMAT VM gantry machining centres combine high dynamics and rigidity with high workpiece precision for demanding applications on small and medium components. The machine features a fixed portal structure, a movable crossrail and a travelling table. Available in a milling version (SPEEDMAT VM) and a milling/turning multitasking version (SPEEDMAT VMT).

Design and configuration
Structures are engineered using finite element analysis to optimise masses, increase static and dynamic rigidity and improve thermal symmetry.
  • Available head solutions: HVA head with continuous axis inclined 45°
  • A head with continuous tilting axis

Both head types are offered with electronic spindles in high-speed and high-torque configurations.

Table and spindle options
Table versions: TR (milling) for VM and TRT (milling & turning) for VMT. PAMA’s patented table support concept combines rolling bearings with hydrostatic support to enhance load capacity and accuracy.

Automation, attachments and software
Options include dedicated CNC attachment heads, palletised table systems, automatic tool and attachment-head changers. CNC control configurable with Siemens or Heidenhain. Integrated sensors managed by PAMA software enable unmanned cycles, process monitoring and energy optimisation.
