Description

Overview
The HBC-PC120 is a compact, workshop-grade busbar machine that performs cutting, punching and bending operations on copper and aluminium busbars. Designed for small workshops and mobile job sites, the unit uses a single hydraulic power pack and a set of quick‑change heads to carry out each operation sequentially. The machine is suitable for busbars up to 120 × 12 mm and is single‑phase 220 V compatible.

Main capabilities
  • Cutting, punching and bending of copper and aluminium busbars (sequential operations with head change).
  • Cable functions available via dedicated heads: crimping and cable cutting (optional).
  • Punching with standard circular dies M6–M18; rectangular and oval dies available as options.
  • Five quick‑change heads for rapid switching between operations (cutting, punching, bending, cable crimping, cable cutting).
  • Designed for repeatable, accurate results with controlled bend angles via encoder and electronic bender controller.

Notable features and controls
  • PLC control (Siemens components referenced) and HMI for bender management.
  • High‑accuracy encoder for consistent angle control.
  • Laser centre finder for precise punching position.
  • Hydraulic station with combined high/low pressure pump and quality valve components.
  • Fast tool change design; hand‑wheel for busbar axis up/down; foot pedal for hydraulic arm advance/return and automatic cycles.

Specifications (summary)
  • Model: HBC-PC120 (table reference HBC-PC120-EH).
  • Maximum capacity (busbar): 120 × 12 mm; max length up to 4000 mm.
  • Total motor power: 1.7 kW (other documents reference 1.5 kW).
  • Max die / punching diameter: ≤ Ø20 mm; punching range 4.5–20 mm.
  • Bending / cutting / punching force: 160 kN (listed).
  • Width range: 15–120 mm; thickness range: 3–12 mm.
  • Machine weight: ~600 kg; main footprint ~1200 × 1000 × 1365 mm (machine table dimensions also cited as 100 × 120 × 101 cm).

Power & hydraulics (summary)
  • Voltage: 220 V AC, single‑phase; Frequency: 50 Hz.
  • Total motor power: 1.7 kW (see note above).
  • Hydraulic oil: ISO VG 68 (H68), oil capacity ~30 L.
  • Hydraulic pump/valve: combined high/low pressure pump with quality valves; listed component brands in spec sheets.
  • Max hydraulic pressure: documented as 200 bar in the specification table; other references indicate 150 bar — to be confirmed.

Electronics & control (summary)
  • PLC: Siemens components referenced for PLC/HMI.
  • HMI for bender control (display sizes referenced in specs).
  • Sensors: Autonics listed in component table; AC contactor: Schneider listed.
  • Industry 4.0 ready: optional connectivity/feedback features noted.

Operation & mechanical
  • Single hydraulic power pack — only one station active at a time (tool head change required to switch functions).
  • Hand‑wheel for vertical adjustment of busbar axis to seat heads; fast head change reduces downtime.
  • Foot pedal controls hydraulic arm movement and automatic cycle start.
  • Stroke data (summary): cutter/puncher/bender strokes and typical speeds referenced in spec tables (e.g. cutter strike stroke 88 mm; puncher strike stroke 38 mm; bender strike stroke 80 mm; typical stroke speeds ~0.39 m/min).
  • Mounting type: wheels for portability (machine weight ~600 kg).

Operations, heads and tooling
  • Cutting head — for copper and aluminium busbars up to 120 × 12 mm; dedicated cutting molds.
  • Punching head — circular dies M6–M18 standard; oval and rectangular dies optional; laser centre finder for precise positioning.
  • Bending head — electronic controller with encoder for repeatable angles.
  • Cable crimping head — crimping capacity referenced as both 300 mm² and 240 mm² in different documents (final capacity to be confirmed).
  • Cable cutting head — cutting up to 240 mm².

Applications & recommended use
  • Small electrical workshops, panel builders and service teams requiring a compact 3‑in‑1 busbar workstation.
  • Suitable for mobile job sites and manufacturers with limited floor space.
  • Ideal where sequential operations (cut/punch/bend) are acceptable and fast head change is used to switch tasks.
