Product Overview
The VT 20K is a 20 cm high full-web wooden formwork beam optimised for slab formwork, especially thin slabs with short spans. Robust steel end caps and concave web ends protect the beam for daily site use. Available in 11 lengths from 1.45 m to 5.90 m, the beam is suitable for standard slab formwork and special applications such as bridge or tunnel formwork.

In action

• High quality & robust: Chords manufactured from softwood and a highly compressed web board with a high synthetic resin content. Steel end caps on the chord ends and concave web ends provide impact protection; caps are fixed in the unstressed area of the web.
• Universal & low swelling: 4 x 8 cm chords give sufficient width for nailing plywood joints. High adhesive content reduces swelling behaviour; the solid web prevents dry cracks and torsion.
