Your suggestions for improvement:
Slab formwork is used to create a horizontal concrete slab serving as the floor or ceiling of a building story.
TechnologiesSlab formwork can be created in different ways. The traditional system uses independent joists and shoring to create a framework to be covered by sheathing. Modular panel formwork is mounted on structural elements already in place and uses a single shore per panel. Flying forms or tables are large pre-assembled units including sheathing, joists and shoring. Lifting gear must be used to handle them, but large elements can be put in place rapidly.
How to chooseTraditional slab formwork uses the joist system. It is adaptable to even the most complex shapes, is economical, requires few different elements and is suitable for occasional use. The modern panel system is rapid, economical and better adapted to construction requiring a large number of identical slabs. Flying forms or tables are favored for frequent use, where surface area is large and the slabs repeat from one level to the next.
