Current relays series CR-100 are provided for application in the electromechanical equipment automated control systems, in relay protection and automatics diagrams for implementation of current protections (cable protection, busbars protections) at city electric transport, metro and railways traction substations. Current relay CR-100 is operated by 24 V operating DC power supply and it measures the magnetic field around the busbar which passes through it. Current relay CR-100 is activated, when the magnetic field, and hence, current, that passes through busbars, exceeds the threshold value. The threshold value can be set by Customer. Current relay CR-100 can be also applied for monitoring both of DC with any polarity, and for AC. Structurally current relay CR-100 represents an electronic circuit, assembled at the printed board, that is installed in the housing. Current sensor, signal measuring and processing components, digital outputs output circuits, as well as indication, monitoring and setting components are placed on the printed board. Relay actuation indication is placed on the housing front panel. External circuits are connected to the current relay with screw clamps. Current relay CR-100 is manufactured and accepted in accordance with requirements of national standards, actual technical documentation, as well as recognized as ready-for-service. The relay doesn't pose any threat to the safety, health or life of people, as well as it is absolutely safe for the environment.
