ProSpeed® LSV-1100 laser sensors detect forward motion in the manufacturing process with utmost precision and without contact. In the production of continuous materials, piece goods and web goods, ProSpeed® LSV-1100 Laser Surface Velocimeters reliably measure length and speed even in harsh production environments with up to 1.5 m working distances. Thanks to non-contact measurement, they avoid the disadvantages of alternative tactile techniques and encoders such as inaccuracies due to slippage and wear - without affecting the surfaces of the measured material. The extended connectivity of the latest sensor generation ProSpeed® offers transparency and flexibility: With touch display, parameterization via web interface as well as multi-user access via Ethernet and serial interface for up to four users in parallel. For automated PLC-controlled processes, the integrated PROFINET and EtherNet/IP interfaces enable easy integration of the sensors into production control systems.
