Description

Overview
POWDER DS supplies three conveying technologies selected and configured according to process requirements: drag chain (TD), pneumatic (TP/TPF/TPM) and screw (TS) conveyors. Systems handle powders and granular products for loading silos, hoppers and flour mills, and are available in fixed and mobile configurations for multiple industrial layouts.

Drag Chain Conveyors — TD Series
Drag chain conveyors are closed-tube systems with circular discs linked by a chain or cable. Discs move product along the conduit driven by a geared unit and automatic tensioner. TD installations support multiple inlets and multiple unloading points along the route, enabling flexible feeding from several silos, hoppers or bulk bags.

Pneumatic Conveyors — TP / TPF / TPM Series
POWDER DS offers pneumatic conveying by pressure (TP), by suction (TPF) and mobile pneumatic units (TPM). Suction systems (TPF) create a vacuum at the end of the line to convey materials to a single receiving hopper for dosing. Pressure systems (TP) use a pump at the line start to deliver product to several destinations. TPM mobile units combine conveying with functions such as sifting and on-site loading to support flexible plant layouts and operator tasks.

Screw Conveyors — TS Series
Screw conveyors consist of a helical screw driven by a geared motor inside a conduit and are suited to short-distance transport of powders and granules. TS solutions include fixed and mobile screw conveyors and screw elevators for feeding high hoppers and integrating pre-dosing sifting operations.

Applications and installation
  • Feeding from multiple silos, hoppers and bulk bags.
  • Multiple unloading points along the route (drag conveyors).
  • Fixed and mobile filling solutions for hoppers and flour mills.
  • Choice of suction or pressure pneumatic conveying to match installation requirements.

Brochure / Documentation
POWDER DS provides a conveying systems brochure (PDF) detailing series options, typical layouts and technical data for project specification.

Technical characteristics / specifications
  • TD Series: closed-tube drag conveyors with circular discs linked by chain or cable, automatic tensioner and geared drive; multi-inlet and multi-outlet capability.
  • TP Series: pneumatic pressure conveying with pump at route start for distribution to multiple destinations.
  • TPF Series: pneumatic suction conveying with vacuum pump at line end for delivery to a single dosing hopper.
  • TPM Series: mobile pneumatic units with options for sifting, mobile loading and flexible positioning in plant.
  • TS Series: screw conveyors with geared motor and helical screw; suitable for short distances; mobile screw elevator variants for high hoppers and integrated sifting.
  • Typical uses: feeding flour mills and hoppers, transferring formula components for dosing systems, mobile filling and sifting operations.
