Powerbox Back-up Battery Unit is a configurable sub-rack platform that can flexibly set to meet various customer requirements. Powerbox BBU systems are suitable for various industrial applications, road and track side railway and transportation signalling systems as well as any control center installations. The configuration can consist of active Power Factor Corrected inputs, microcontrolled smart charging, several independed battery packs, automatic battery test, output distribution and several control and monitoring signals. All components are pluggable cassettes and whole sub-rack configuration can easily be mounted/dismounted as one piece.
